Combining Polygons

I have a editable poly with multiple elements (all '2D' on the same plane). Some of the elements intersect each other. How do I combine or merge them togther? See attached. Thanks.

This is how I did it.

You must detach all these components into separate objects first.

So:
1. Select your object.
2. Go into Modify tab.
3. Set Polygon selection.
4. Click one of the Grass blades. It should be the only one selected now.
5. In Edit Geometry click Detach. Give new object a name. Both checkboxes should off. Click Ok.
6. Reapet 3-5 for all other blades till they all are separate objects.

7. Now select one blade.
8. Go to Create tab, Geometry, Compound objects, ProBoolean.
9. In Operations select Merge.
10 Click "Start Picking" and click all others blades. Now they all should be merged.
11. Now you may convert it again into Editable poly.

Finished. 🙂
