Can't select object after deselecting it

Anonymous
Not applicable

So I am making a creature and realized that I needed to add teeth to it. I made a pyramid and altered it as needed and was ready to attach it. I selected the creature to do just that and it wouldn't let me select the tooth. It wasn't letting me select the tooth at all anymore. It was like it was locked, only I didn't lock it. Anybody know what is going on here?

Check which Layer it is on - maybe the Layer is Frozen?

Max 2016 (SP1/EXT1)
Win7Pro x64 (SP1). i5-3570K @ 4.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX11.
nVidia GTX760 (2GB) (Driver 430.86).

Easy done - it's a common problem, or rather a common cause for a number of problems 🙂
