Can't connect two vertices (Editable Poly).

Dear 3ds Max gurus,

Why is it that these two vertices won't Connect or P. Connect? Skärmklipp.PNG

Using the Cut tool worked, but it's a strange error to begin with.

The 'Connect' tool is used to create 1 or more new edges between 2 or more selected edges as shown below. The 'Cut' tool as you've found is the best option for your scenario.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've used the Connect button to connect most of the other vertices (it usually works fine in vertex mode in Editable Poly). My first post was a strange exception to this, where the Connect button in vertex mode, didn't work, and I was wondering why.

1. Select polygons
2. Delete selected
3. Apply Cap Holes
4. Collapse All (modifyers)
4. Select and connect vertices
