Border selection doesn't work

There is one problem, during modelling i saw. Mb it's kinda bug, i don't know. 

Selections, like: Vertex, Edge, Polygon, Element work right. But when deal goes to Border selection, it doesn't work. I can't select any border in the scene. Tried every kind of a geometry: cylinders, boxes, etc...

P.S. Working in 3ds Max 2020

I think you can't select one because there's no border to select. If you delete top polygon for axample, then you have a border to select.
