Hello there,

Another problem just came in. Whenever I join two Meshes some unwanted white meshes appear in my mesh. Here is how it looks like :-join prob.jpg

Why does those faces appear? Is there a way to stop them? That mesh is in editable poly mode.

Please help what kind of problem it is and how to solve it.

Would be helpful if you can pass the Max file here.

The white faces may be faces with normals flipped relative to the adjacent faces.  You can flip the normal of them or delete faces that are extraneous.

Well the entire mesh had too many materials assigned in it in almost every other face and that's why unknown faces were popping out.

The fix was to select all the faces of the entire mesh and assign them one single material.
