Typing amount decimal numbers but the result turn into integer numbers

Hi everyone,

I got problem that every time i type the amount in modifier otherwise moving object with decimal numbers, then i hit enter it always turn into integer number. For instance i type 0,1 then i hit enter it turn to 0,0. I've type decimal with .(dot) and ,(comma) but it result the same. 1,1 -> 1.0, 2,1 -> 2,0 and so on.

I didn't change anything and i don't know if i accidentally hit some button on my keyboard, but this make my work slow.

Do you ever have the same problem with me? I'll so happy to get the solution.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Oliver

I'm not on my machine but in 'Preferences' there is a place you can set how many decimal places. Is it set to 3 or 4?

@RobH2 is correct that there is a setting in Preferences.  Note that this only affects the displayed precision.  The actual value should be what you input unless you are very far from 0,0,0.

thats because time and region format of your windows.

in win 10 just go to control panel > clock and region > region

in the format tab go to additional settings and change the decimal symbol to dot.

for me decimal symbol was " / " so i changed it to " . " and it worked
