I know you can press F3 for wireframe mode, but is the option located anywhere within the menus etc.? I can't seem to find it, or even a widget.

Hi,

If you go to Customize > Customize User Interface - you can add several wireframe toggles (wireframe/smooth, etc...) to your quads, toolbar or menus. Look for Views in your categories on the left - add to the right as desired. Pressing F3 is pretty efficient - why are you seeking other methods if you don't mind me asking?

Hi

Thanks for the response. No real reason really. I'm new to 3ds Max and I'm just getting familiarised with where certain options are. I guess I'm also used to having an option/button to toggle it from Blender and Maya. 🙂

From what I've read as well, right clicking on the object, going to Object Properties and selecting See-Through does what I need. 🙂

Right - alt+x will also get you there quicker, too. 😉
