Project out of grid alignment

I'm trying to import a low floor autocad into 3d max, but when I import the project it's far from the grid, and I'm having trouble exporting it to another program because I need it to be aligned to the grid. can anybody help me?

• Main toolbar >  (Use Selection Center), on Use Center flyout
• Select All (CTRL+A)
• Right click on the Transform Icon in the main toolbar 
• Type in the Absolute World 0 for X,Y&Z
• All selection will move now to the center of the home grid
