problems on texturing

i am trying to built my model for my game but i get some problems in the texturing part.

i tried to paste the eye.jpd on the 4 polygon for each eyes, and i got the above result.

for the right part of the image(left eye), i used photonshop to remove the unwanted parts(the parts surronding the eye), but it still give me a  square image and colored with white.

And the area of 4 polygon which exceeds the size of image, becomes dard in color, which is not what i wanted.

How can i change those color back to the skin color(the color surronding those 8 polygon)?

Hi. Your problem comes from couple of things. If your image does not have a Mask/Alpha channel, the "unwanted part" won't be hidden. Save your image as a 32-bit .PNG or .TGA, then uncheck "Premultiplied Alpha" in the Bitmap Parameters. Also, you will need to change your Diffuse Color from the Material Eitor to match your skin color because by applying the texture directly to your eye area, you probably created a Multi/Sub-Material for the eye. The black area is just a display issue. When you render the image, it should render your Diffuse color.

Having said this, I would recommend not using Multi/Sub-Material if you're building this for a game. Use a single texture map for the entire model by unwrapping your UVs. More info on UVW Unwrap here:
