Polygon Shading distortion occurring after smoothing.

Hello!
I am having trouble making my object faces look smooth. The faces are plain and on the same level. The topology is quads. I want to apply one smoothing group to the geometry but when I do so the polygon's shading becomes weird(edge like/creased edge like). Even auto smooth does apply one group to all the polygons but resulting in some polygons not perfectly smooth(shady/edgy/creasy).
