New scene and new object but no snapping to vertex

Hi,

iam confused I setup snapping to vertex:

I tried now new scene, new object but still no snapping, System units and Display Units both metric cm, has anyone an idea? Is it a bug or why?

In addition to selecting vertex in the Grid and Settings Dialog, you also have to activate Snap (Hot key = S) by left clicking on the Snaps Toggle (Hot key = S) for Snap to be on.

It is is on thats the problem oh and I tried 2, 2,5 and 3

After reinstallation its working again really strange
