looking for Maxscript or plugin to generate random splines on geometry

Hello,

there used to be a maxscript that with a button you could generate Random Splines wrapped around a Geometry.

Think something like cloth  wrapped around a mummy or string wrapped around the inside of a baseball

Did you know you can select the edges and then press 'Create Shape From Selection' in the 'edit edges' roll down menu? Not what you asked for, but in case you didn't know.
