How to create the outside shell of an architectural model?

Hi,

I need to create the outside "shell" of an achitectural model so it can be used to create a physical model.

I am thinking a tool that "scans" the outside of the building and creates a new model. It is a very large model from revit and now there is lots of manul labour.

I'm not sure i understand completely what you are trying to do, but i think you should use the "Shell" modifier.

Hi. Know the problem. Unfortunately I don't think there's any other way than hard work 😞

How "hard" very much depends on, how the Revit model is build and structured, but so far I haven't seen any fast and easy solution.
