How to create a hole in object?

Hello and welcome,

I want to know how can i make a holes in object in 3D Max 2019? It'll be fantastic if it'll looks like on screenshot.

I found tutorial describing that, but it was for older version of software and it doesn't work on my. I trying to do something with ProBoolean function either, but still cannot get my final result.

Even here i can't found any similiar topics. 

Is there someone who will help with my problem?
