Help with canopy shadows

Hello,

I have been having this problem with the canopy of a jet that I am working on. In 3ds Max (2009), it looks great without any problems. But when I export it to the game, I see shadows. I have tried everything without any luck. I would appreciate any help in this matter.

Thanks

Without seeing more of your model it's hard to know what's going on. It looks like you have coincident geometry on top the canopy. Or, it's an issue in the game. Can you upload the canopy mesh so I can look at it? I bit more info about what you are doing and what game it's going to would help diagnose.

Can you turn off shadow casting for the canopy in the game? It also could be a Max 2009 compatability issue with more modern software and hardware. A lot has changed in 15 years.

What game engine are you using it in?
