Hello everyone

i am trying to model this shape in a simple and procedural way if there is... i am unable to understand the process to make it as it is.

It is a marble strip floor.

Each strip within will have different material applied, though its random but 3 to 4 different material will be applied on it later.

i will be very greatful if someone could help me out in its modeling technique.

Thanks

You could create the basic rosettes by using the Array modifier:

But you will get a lot of overlapping faces. Best way is, create objects of the array and combine them by using Boolean/Union. Create the tiles e.g. by using TyFlow's tyMultiFracture modifier.

Convert the pieces to separate objects, place a copy of the rosette to each of them and use them to cut out the tiles.

It's probably not what you have in mind but it looks interesting! 😊

I think this is pretty good solution that provides close enough result and doesn't require a lot of manual work.

Also worth mentioning that original seems like it was made in photoshop. There are repeating patterns everywhere, one of those was rotated weirdly, that produced diagonal pieces, lots of smudges, shapes blend into each other.
Only imprinted/inverted (large darker patterns) variation looks somewhat believable.
