Hello 🙂

I have a real tough question for myself but I think you know how to solve my problem.

I've got a model and in the model, there are some areas which are not "closed/connected". I want to fix that.

As you can see in the picture, the red area isnt connected to the grey area.
I tried to weld all the vertex by vertex but it will really take hours (more areas which I need to fix)

My question is:

Is there a possible solution to connect those two areas faster than connecting every single vertex by vertex?

You do not have to individually weld the vertices to join the mesh in the open areas that you show.   Assuming that the piece with the selected polygons and the gray (non selected polygons) are part of the same Editable poly or Editable mesh object, all you have to do is select all of the vertices you want to weld and then set the weld threshold to a low value like  0.1 and the vertices within that weld threshold distance will be welded.   (You do this by selecting the weld dialogue box in the Editable Poly rollout. ) The actual threshold setting you should use depends on the size of your model, so you may have to try different threshold value to weld just the vertices that are right on top of (or very close to) each other.      Hope this works for you.
