ARNOLD DISPLACEMENT MAP TO MESH GEOMETRY

Hi,
Does anyone know how to take 3DS Arnold displacement map and turn it into 3D mesh geomtry in the viewport?
This is so you can then scatter other objects over the displacement surface in the 3D viewport.
Please note this is not using Displace modifers just Arnold displacement.
