When 3ds Max was doing, there was loading every 5 minutes. It took more than 1 minute, and then it was reloading. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Hi @Anonymous

We're here to help, but I feel like your post is missing a bit of detail about what is happening exactly or how you think it might be related to your system specifications. Can you elaborate a bit more on the symptoms, please?

Hi,

Just a wild guess,

Did you add a subdivision modifier like a TurboSmooth, MeshSmooth, OpenSubdiv?

And, if so, did you click and drag the Iterations spinner up so that, now,

You have a very high value there?

hi, My scene is also very small, just very common [Polys: 1,378,265]. It is a question of repeating a loading only after two attempts, and then stopping the loading only after two attempts (:

you can see below

thanks.

From the video, I can see your Video Card is suffering,

To check if it's really a VGA problem, select all High Poly objects, like the plants,

Right-Click, Objects Properties, then check the option Display As Box and see if that helps.

Hi, do you think this is my computer's graphic card problem? But the processor also not responding. Actually what the main problem? or 3ds max own issue? My work can't be smooth due to this loading frequently 2-3 minutes per time.

thanks.

Is this happening on this file only or it's happening on other files?

Try opening another project and see how Max is behaving.

Hi @Anonymous

I assume that you are talking about the issue that occurs at about ~ 1:10 in your video? It looks to me like an issue with Autosave and not your video card. Can you try disabling Auto backup temporarily to see if this resolves the issue? You can find the option in Customize Menu->Preferences->Files tab, uncheck "Enable" in he the Auto Backup section.
