I would like a new display option for the UVW Map modifier that will display the diffuse texture outside the bounds of the object on the gizmo for the UVW Map. This can help with aligning textures by the gizmo when you cannot actually the section you want to apply to a surface because it's outside the current faces of the object.
Options:
- View Overlay : Boolean to turn on the overlay
- Overlay Opacity: Float spinner to control how strong the overlap appears
- Overlay Extent: Float spinner to extend the overlay beyond the bounds of the gizmo in world space (applicable to Planar mapping mode only).
