[UI Scene Explorer] Thumbnails display option for the Materials in addition to names

A nice feature that would make the Explorers more visually appealing and informative. There is already a Material Explorer that has them as thumbnails but that is a specialized variant explorer only for materials. For a sneak peek at materials inside the Scene Explorer this would be very welcome.

I actually did not know about the Material Explorer. I am a long time user but my use was sporadic for many years since I used it intensively a long time ago, until recently getting back to using it daily again. I needed something like the Material explorer just yesterday and expected to find it as an view option under the Scene Explorer or to see it as a possible column when viewing objects. Integrating this all would be helpful.
