We need this SO BAD!
I mostly love scanline speeds for my technical animation purposes, but

enough dragging the dead. Please!

If I could only vote a million times 🙂

My small studio is beginning the transition to Blender since we cannot afford 3ds max subscription for much longer.

Eevee is also a big reason we are switching.

This is a must for any modern 3d Package in my opinion. Especially now with Nvidias RTX technology coming - there are great opportunities to make a near real-time renderer that can yield amazing visual results. And for many use cases the quality can be good enough for final delivery.
Once Blender 2.8 is out, this could be a good reason for many 3d artists to make the transition from a paid 3d Software package. 3DS max should excel a free 3d engine on every account for the price tag it has.

This is it guys, i think Autodesk is dead, just look at the comments, just look at the most popular comment on this video.

Sorry Autodesk but a free software have just beaten a multi million dollar company, people will slowly move away from an expensive software who does less than a free one even if it means to redesign an entire workflow. (Even if it is a future consideration, response is a bit late ... shame)
