"X" key quick search maps and shaders inside the Slate Material Editor
Inside of the Slate Material Editor If "X" is pressed a search bar appears with a list below like in the rest of the interface, but works like "Tab" in Maya Hyper Shade.
The list shows the Maps and shaders available, "Enter" creates the node.
There are now 3 clones(probably even more) of this idea. These are wasted votes. The other 2 are just below on the front page. You should get in touch with the other authors and an admin to combine all 3 threads and votes.
I run a search for it before I post it but it did not show up, later looking post by post I find them and vote for them, even commented that I just post the same idea...
If any Admins or any other Autodesk people can merge these ideas it would be great.
