Name preview

naming previews '_scene.avi' is just non-sense... previews have to be named with the scene name!

To be able to set a string to make the render file name automatic.

for instance:

Image_$camera_$frame.tga it would result in Image_CameraA_001.tga

Would be nice have a token naming system not only in render output.

@RGhost77

I agree with you!

It could also be used to load things in to max such as textures, proxies, etc...

I was about to make a thread about this. Good!

Hell yes to this. Especially if you could add a date field so that max creates a new folder based on the date you sent the render. (Something that could be turned on and off).

RPManager has had this for years but is buggy from time to time.

Ideally, we would have a token-based naming scheme for previews, that includes a custom path where to store them. It's rather tedious to always have to 'rename' any preview that needs to be kept.

@MartinBehYou right, token would be better. I think MAX really need token system and it should works everywhere where filename is given.
