More line dimensioning

I've requested this before, but it would be nice to have a line length option in the parameters roll out. This could also be similar to AutoCAD. Drag a line in the direction you want it to go and set a length. You could use the polar snaps to drag straight lines. Then have a length parameter to type in.

Another option would be to have it some what like Inventor, where you could draw the line, close enough, complete with segments. Then pick a line segment to set a segment length from the parameters, using the vertex numbers as the base of that segment.

Yes I too agree with the point on providing measurements for line tool.

It did takes time to create the line in accurate measurement.

It'll defenitely reduce lot of working time and helps in improving the precision in our drawing.

Because I'll always believe on a fact that 2D drawing is the most important part for any drawing concept.

The ability to draw a line and set it's length is about as basic as you can get in the world of 3D modeling. Truly astonished that 3DS Max 2021 has yet to accomplish this.
