Mix spinner/slider for deforming modifiers

Mix spinner/slider for deforming modifiers

Would it be possible to add a mix spinner or slider for all deforming modifiers? I guess it's almost like a morpher-setup but without the morpher.

Say you've added an edit poly modifier and made a certain adjustment to a model. Client then asks you to bring it back 30%. That would be real easy if you had a slider that would go from 0-100 (default at 100). Select your modifier and pull the mix slider down to 70%. Done!

Thanks!

One my idea is to have a weight control in EditPoly to use like mudbox in animation!

... and to have a opportunity to register FreeForm deformation from ribbon tool (actually is not possible)

This control will be able to help users in SDK, wireparameter and in all part of modeling / animation

Hey @passariello How would this be different than just doing a morpher modifier?

becouse is impossible to use graphite or sculpting on morpher without a continuos go and back from diffetents modifiers..... my request is a simple implementing that open opportunities to have a unique are to work without tons of neurons to remember the use of a ****ing morpher, tons of copies of the same objects in memory.... sorry

Oh Right! My memory is as long as it is good... I voted for that. Smiley Embarassed

The thing is though, I'd like it to be a slider/spinner that is more general. Not only part of the edit poly modifier.

I don't know, should I delete this post and just add a comment in that post?
