I think it's time for 3dsmax to have the ability to run every frame BUT with a maximum frame rate limitation, just like in Maya.
Currently we either have "Real Time", or our playback runs way to fast if the scene is light.
To have a run every frame WITH a frame cap of the desired frame rate would be handy when dealing with particle systems for example. Often particle systems runs more stable when running every frame (especially in Forward mode), but currently simulations can end up playing too fast.
Give users a proper frame cap feature when Real Time is disabled. It's long overdue.
