Allow create and modify panels to be open side-by-side

These are both very frequently used parts of the UI. We should at least have the option to have them both open rather than having to click between them all the time.

I suggest allowing panels in general to be broken off, dragged and docked to wherever the user wants, the same as is possible in Adobe and Rhino.

Have you looked at the tear-off menus? You can do a bit of that already using that functionality.

Aforementioned is possible for a long time in Cinema 4D, just so you know.

You can freely create panels there and populate them with buttons/commands, very granular. This is done by simply dragging and dropping commands from the "customize commands" list (equals the "customize user interface > keyboard" list in Max) to the panels. All panels are dockable and resizable, with almost no exceptions.

In C4D, you have different workspaces for different tasks (modelling, UVs, sculpting, rigging, animating etc.) which are nothing more than saved UI layouts.

You DO look at other applications and draw inspiration from it, don't you? Really, check it out if you did not already. Squeaky clean and snappy, that's how it should be.
