AEC tools is a good tool but theres a division problem which cause different issues.
If your parenting doors, windows etc. into the walls sometimes there will not be enough divisions set out by max to make the booleans corrct ie. resulting in geometry jitter **** up, some times 3ds max might even crash if you try to move any of the doors or windows in the wall.
Now, there IS a workaround to fix this (create new divisions through segment) - but i suggest you create a simple feature when making the walls called divisions that would make a division for every 'X' mm or a minimum of 'X' amount divisions of the wall full wall, this would iron out the currently existing problems in AEC.
