The bridge tool in 3ds Max is really limited compared to all of the other programs out there, and I wish you all would update it. I wish I could do what I can do in Modo, where you can select two edges and turn on "Continuous Bridge," and it automatically bridges the surrounding edges and conforms to the curvature of the object. I think Modo has the best bridge tool options (Blender is also very good), so I've posted a link to an old page showing off their features. You can see the "Continuous Bridge" option on this page.
I also wish I could assign bridge to a hotkey, so that I could select two edges and press ctl+b (for instance) and it would automatically bridge those two edges. This way I can use your superior edge selection tools instead of having to select each edge individually inside of the bridge tool or having to use the bridge version with the settings and have to wait for the dialog to pop up each time I hit the shortcut. I've made a tiny script to accomplish this (there's a little lag each time the script is run- which is weird), but minus the lag I wish it was the default behavior.
