Currently there are shortcuts for the extend, step build and optimize commands. However inside of them the: create a polygon, drag edges, move vertex etc etc etc, they all have pre - assigned shortcuts that cannot be changed in any way. Confirmed by Autodesk.
These are very hard on the fingers and the wrist in the long term usage. These are tools that are used for retopology by every modeling user out there, countless of times a day. Try pressing ctrl alt shift 10000 times a day to move vertices. It is very damageable for the health of the artist.
We want to be able to assign custom shortcuts for these functions as with every other command out there.
