Why can't I turn on my track bar?

my track bar won't show.  I keep trying to follow the other posts to "bring it back" but either the options simply aren't there or won't work.  What gives?  I just want to turn on the timebar.  Why on earth is this a difficult thing to find?

Can you tell us a bit more about what you have tried?

The top suggestions I found were:

#1 Go to Customize > Show UI > Show Track Bar.

#2 Update 3ds Max

#3 Reset the 3ds Max preference folder (ENU folder)
