When I rotate a group of objects, they all rotate in different axis

Well, I was working on a project for a truck stage. I needed to create a speaker with a tripod and when I was doing it I accidentally modify the pivot point of all the objects, so now when I want to rotate a group of objects, the pivot point doesn't center to the selection, and all of the objects rotate in different axis positions.

Here's a video of the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cUXMk-RhwQ&feature=youtu.be

I'll appreciate if someone can help as soon as possible, thank yoy 😉

Pd.- Sorry for the bad english, is not my native language

You're using the pivot center for your rotations. If you click and hold on that button you will see a drop-down menu with another button "Use selection center".

Try to close the group or make a new one if they are still separated. After that you should probably rotate with one common group pivot without affecting single parts pivot.

Hope that helps!!

Cheers

I am having the same problem, and although using selection center works most of the time, whenever I turn on auto key it forces me to use pivot point center. Is there any other work around?

Try unchecking 'Local Center During Animate'

You can't use selection center for animations, if you want that behavior in animation you have to link your objects to a helper object (that you can place anywhere, including in the center of your selection) and then animate that helper object.
