First guess, I'd say coplanar faces.

Zip the file and post it here. Kind of hard to diagnose just off the image.

Also, was this built in Max, or imported from elsewhere? And if it's made in Max, how did you build it (which modeling method)?

i have attach my 3dsmax scene file and images in this post and another post.

i need this(G1-fabric) type material with logo.

G1-fabric OK
G2-logo OK
G3-logo mirror
G0-plane with edge loop-with symmetry modifier
G6-plane with edge loop-without symmetry modifier
Fabric bump-for bump mapping

Which zip file contains the max scene?
Which max scene has the problem?

What version of max are you using?

Its the Bump map in "G6-plane with edge loop-without symmetry modifier.max"

Turn off the Bump map in the material and the artifacts go away.

Add a UVW Mapping modifier, set to Cylinder, on X to Fit, and the artifacts go away.

Be aware that Bump maps use grayscale values only.
I changed the Bump value to 200 and the UV Tiling to 3, just so the effect would be more visible.

Currently I'm using 3dsmax 9.
Problem in G0-plane with edge loop-with symmetry modifier .max(problem 1)
I need G1-fabric ok.tif type (bump)material with LOGO.
I have attach a .jpg file for diffuse map.and max scene file.
The problem is logo mirror.
how to solve this problem.

And the next problem(problem 2) is Why don't automatically generate mapping coordinates? in G6-plane with edge loop-without symmetry modifier.max

You can't use G1-fabric ok.tif for a Diffuse texture unless you never want to see the model from the same "view" as the bitmap.

It does not work that way. Read the tutorials on Unwrap UVW. You need a bitmap image that shows all sides of the object you want to apply the map to, not just one view.

The Editable Poly does have mapping coordinates, but you added many more polygons afterward. The coordinates were there, just not where they should have been. The mapping may have been fine at the Editable Poly level, but as you keep adding more vertices, Max has no way of know how you want the coordinates assigned.

I used UVW Mapping, not Unwrap UVW. Again, your image is not suitable for use as a map with Unwrap UVW.
Your logo images have the same problems. You need a bitmap image of the "logo" from straight on. Not as a rendered image already applied to an object. T-Shirt_Logo.png will work.

Here is the G6 file back. Note the settings for the Bump and the Diffuse maps.
No Tile
U Tiling = 4, V Tiling = 2
Mono = Alpha
Alpha Source = Image Alpha
Premultiplied Alpha = off

I also rotated the Gizmo of the UVW Mapping modifier to position the logo image and fix the bump map orientation a bit.

makesh,

I STRONGLY recommend you complete this tutorial:
