What's the difference between AUTODESK Max 9,AUTODESK Max 2008

Hello,

What's the difference between AUTODESK Max 9,AUTODESK Max 2008 is it the same thing with updates extra feature or is different all together?

max 9 has been discontinued so you cannot get it anymore, but you can still use it if you have paid for a license, like i do. 3ds max 2008 discontinued also so you cannot buy them anymore.

i misread i thought it said max 2018

Hello @Anonymous and welcome to the community,

Yes it's just a nomenclature change.  After Max 9 it went to 2008.  You saw this with Windows 2000 after XP and some other programs started to use this naming.  Each successive version added new features or support for new types of hardware.
