Vray Camera Issues - Animation

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi

I've been having problems with my Vray cameras in various pieces of my animations.  When I edit my animation stills together, I get shifts in the cameras perspective.  Almost as if the camera is shaking on various frames of the animation.  It's really annoying as you can't see these issues in Max and they can only be seen once the stills have been rendered.  I have run cam test animations at low resolution before hand to check whether or not the camera shifts and all seems OK but when I render my stills in 1080p the issue is still present.

Any help would be appreciated as I am at a loss of how to continue.  I have attached a video file so you can see the problem.

Thanks

Hello @Anonymous,

This question is probably more suited for the Chaosgroup forums, but that being said you may try to check out your camera in the track view and make sure that you don't have a bunch of keys in there you didn't ask for.  Specifically, Vertical shift keys.  It looks to me like you are occasionally shifting the view a little bit, and I'm sure it wasn't on purpose.  There was a bug a while back that affected Vray cameras by putting keyframes on elements that weren't looking for them.  Is this a physical cam or a bona fide Vray cam?  Try scrubbing your timeline and keep an eye on vertical shift to make sure those numbers aren't changing, I think you may find that they are somehow.

Please hit the "Accept as Solution" button if my post fully solves your issue or answers your question. This lets me know that I was effective in helping you, and thank you for doing so.
