do anyone know a procedure to read out or link to the pos of one single vertex in a volume select modifier?
i have an animated band as poly (animated only along one axis) with an relatively animated slice modifier on top (so the slice modifier doesn't move) which removes one end of the poly. then i have the volume select modifier as next. it's positioned in a way it only has one vertex inside.
it almost worked via pflow emitting a single particle on the poly via position object - selected vertieces. then baked this with bobo's tools.
but i noticed after this workaround a jumping of the particle in some frames. pflow seems to have problems ever when the slice modifier exactly cuts the poly in an edge.
position attachement does work almost too. but my pointhelper with position attachement jumps in frame 2 to the second polygon of the poly.
