V-ray renderer options disappeared after reinstalling V-ray

I've had to uninstall V-ray and then reinstall V-ray under a new license. Now there are no options in 3ds Max for a V-ray renderer. Will I have to perform (yet another) a clean uninstall of 3ds Max to get these options back?

Have you checked the plugin manager? Customize > Plug-in Manager

Is VRay visible and ticked in the lower section?

No it does not show up.

Ok this is embarrassing. I had downloaded the license server only and did not install the plugin. Problem solved.
