I mapped a cabinet height of 2900mm but wanted the material to be only at 2200mm high. Usually it will continue mapping another piece but today all I have gotten is a black material at the other end. I have attached a print screen. Appreciate help! Urgent.

What are your settings for the UV map modifier? In the material Editor did you uncheck either U or V tiling? For example, see below an example of black area on an object with box mapping selected for UVW Map when U tiling is unchecked in material editor with U tile set to 3 in the UVW Map rollout. It is not clear from your post what your particular settings are or whether the cabinet is a single object. Hope this helps.
