Thanks for sharing your issue with us. I regret that you are having this experience. Hopefully we can resolve this.

Did you uninstall using option 1 from this article?

Then there is the clean uninstall article here. You should be able to skip the license step #3, but definitely clear the %temp% folder and the folder locations in step #4.

Then restart the PC and install 2022.
