Hi

I'm having a problem installing 3ds Max. Any Autodesk product to be honest. I was getting an issue with the software connecting to the license server, so decided to uninstall EVERYTHING. Everything related to Autodesk, 3ds Max, Maya etc. Now, whenever I try to run the setup I've just downloaded, I end up getting this error:

I'm totally at a loss as to what to do. The info page about it hasn't been helpful either. I've tried disabling my anti-virus, but knew that wouldn't make any difference, and there are no setup.logs to be found in the %TEMP% folder. ๐Ÿ˜ž Can someone help?

Thanks

Okay, that issue looks to stem from using the fastest method of downloading an Autodesk product. I've tried the Download Manager method and that appears to be doing something at least. Of course, I could still run into a similar issue during the installation, so we'll see.

Right. So I have the software re-installed again. But I'm back to square one with the issue of the required connection to Autodesk for license validation could not be established.

Granted, that's for Maya, but I get the same problem with Max. ๐Ÿ˜• I've looked up various articles/guides and tried these:-

However, the problem still remains, and I'm really not sure what to do. ๐Ÿ˜ž
