Tutorial download?

I've been teaching 3ds max 2017 at my local high school using the 2016 tutorial files located on the 3ds max site, and we've been learning a lot! Unfortunately, the tutorials no longer show the images we need to follow (moved and/or broken links). We circumvented this obstacle by opening "in product view", but now that main link is broken. Thankfully the side table of contents is still available for us to use, but I am afraid that tomorrow this link will be unavailable too.

I understand that I am working with tutorials that are two versions behind the currently available product. The reason I use them is because they are logically laid out -- I  do not need to hunt for tutorial help because its all right there. It is also written out which is important for the majority of my students. Videos are fine, but I like to be able to read the steps when helping my students troubleshoot their work i.e. "where were you when you got lost?".

Back in the ancient days of computing, software companies would post a PDF version of their help / tutorial files, so my real question is this: How do I get an offline version of these tutorials?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

The tutorial files I've been using can (maybe) be found here: 3ds max Tutorials: Introduction

Hi,

I checked the link and it contains all the images, nothing is missing,

Maybe you need to check your browser, or maybe try another one

Thanks! It maybe the school's filtering system as well.

Still wanted to find out if there's a way to download the tutorial so we can access it offline...any ideas there?

Thanks again!

From this page: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/downloads/caas/downloads/content/download-and-install...

You can choose the Max's version help file you want, download it and install it so you can use it offline,

And from this page: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/3ds-max/downloads/caas/downloads/content/3ds-max-2016-tutoria...

You can download the scene files

Thanks again for the information. I downloaded the help file, which is chock full of good info; however the tutorials seem to only reside online. This being the case, I'll see about working with my IT department regarding the issues we're experiencing locally.

Maybe you guys know this already ...

You have to right-click on the link and choose "incognito...". This is the only way it worked for me.
