Transparent reflective floor

Hello,

I used Max years ago as an exhibit designer. Back then, I was able to make a transparent material with nothing but raytrace reflections to achieve a floating reflection on the "floor" where my design would sit. My plane was completely invisible and only the reflections of my exhibit would render. (I am attaching a jpg for clarity on what I'm describing.) Now, with materials being real world based, I can't seem to achieve this same look. The floor wants to reflect the lights and the background, and I can't make it invisible while still having the reflections render. Is there a way I can do this in 2024? I am using the Arnold render engine. Thank youExhibit_Blank.jpg

The Ray Switch Shader in Arnold allows you use different shaders depending on whether it is the first raytrace hit, the second etc. Also take a look at the Trace Set shader, which lets you define sets of objects that can "see" each other or not.

Or you add an Arnold modifier to those objects that should not reflect and turn of specular reflections:
