I work in an office where we have Max 2019 installed on two towers and one laptop. Both towers have "Product Version : 2019.3 Update ( 21.0 - 21.3.0.3250)" while the laptop has "Product Version : 2019 (21.0-21.0.0.845)" in the 'About 3ds Max' dialogue box.
When I use the towers with the more updated version, the File>Share View function does not show my texture maps in the online browser viewer. However, my version on my laptop shows up perfectly with all texture maps accurately showcased (with the exception of some opacity maps which are shown as opaque rather than translucent.)
What is the issue here?
These are a few techniques I have tried to troubleshoot the problem already :
1. Zipping up the file completely with all maps, reopening the file so there are no missing links, and trying Share View out of the File>Share View command within the program.
2. Trying to use the Autodesk Desktop App to upload my model and all maps via the online drag and drop system.
3. The maps do not have ANY issue when I render them out; they show up and render beautifully. This issue is solely with the Share View function.
