Strange text / objects in layers that can not be deleted

Hi all,

I'm stuck! There are two objects in the layers that are frozen and hidden, the text is strange and they can not be unfrozen, unhidden or deleted. They have appeared in more than one scene, but not every scene. As a test I opened a new scene, created a box and there they were in the default layer. The text is strange, like a different language or complete gibberish. Please see screenshot.

3dsMax version 2019

Windows 10

Any help on this would be great.

P.S. Tip; make sure you choose what board your posting to First before you do anything else because the page refreshes and all you text will be deleted!
