Splines visible through hair card mesh

So I'll just use pictures as I can't really explain this.
This is what it was before in the first pic(was taken during earlier stages of hair building which is why different) and what the issue is in the second picture.
I was fiddling with the viewport settings, didn't touch the texture settings themselves at all in the material editor, when the texture map suddenly went partially transparent.
Tried reset my settings, even reinstalled the program but that didn't help.
But yes, I can't really work the hair when the view is like that. And didn't really find solutions by googling.
