Spline Methods

Hi,

I'm not sure is I missing something, but I don't see any spline methods like:

1 - Get the number of points ?

2 - Get the number of segments ?

3 - Get the Material Id of a segment ?

Anyone can help or give me some intel ?

Thanks

I think others have already said that MCG is not that userfriendly with splines (or subobject mode...)

Depends what you want out of the spline. For me, I get the spline then I get the 'points' on the spline and use them as

an approximation. ie. the spline is subdivided. This of course, does not correspond to the actual knots on the curve.

This is the method I used in my PathConstraint MCG.

Vusta is right. One can only get vertices from a spline, and nothing else currently.

I think this is because they targeted the first MCG toward trimesh objects.

Extension 1 just got released, which seems to be adding animation controllers. I'll crack it open the first chance I get and see if any new modeling features have been added.
