Some Edges Cannot be Selected

For some reason I've randomly run into this problem. I was just modeling using a plane. What's the issue here? You can see the region selection around an entire Edge. It refuses to select. Some edges on the object just refuse to select. Also look at what happens when I Ring then Connect that edge I can actually select. See how the Connect operation isn't planar with the edge in the corner that's at an angle? Odd.

Hi,

Is what you're modelling close to the origin point 0,0,0? Also I'd be restarting Max when this sort of stuff happens. Sometimes when stuff that 'simply should work' doesn't, a quick restart usually solves it.

Yeah, as above, collapse the stack and try again.
