Shading problem ( Artifacts in the viewport )

The model is done correctly. The polygons are directed in the right direction, correct smoothing groups , the vertex  normal is set. After applying a transparent material, or X ray mode, you can see the artifacts. The reversed polygons effect (though all pligons have the right direction). When loading the model into the substance painter or unreal engiene, it is still not displayed correctly. Need your help.

@Anonymous

With Substance Painter, I have see something similar when the model has non-uniform scaling which you may be aware can happen if you use mirror (can cause -100% in the mirrored axis) or symmetry or scale the mesh at the object level during the modeling process.   So even if your mesh looks OK in Max with all the normals appearing correctly, the nonuniform scaling  confuses Substance Painter and you get the artifacts like you are observing.  If this is your issue, the fix is simply to go to Utilities Panel> Reset XForm>Reset Selected followed by Utilities Panel>Collapse>Collapse Selected.  Then re-export to .fbx and import in Substance Painter. Hope it works for you.
