Hi There
Recently my employer has requested we finalise our scenes in Maya.
I am more of a Max user and I have been using the Send to Maya option in Max.
There are a few issues as far as I can tell..
UV...
Although this isnt a massive deal, Max sends its UV's and own UV channel over to maya as "UVchannel1"
And obviously Maya's naming is "map1".
So, you have to manually rename UVchannel1 to Map1 and delete the old map1 channel.
This took alot of finding after alot of crashes by our build machine at work that exports the Maya scenes in to our game engine!
So it would be great to fix this.
The Update Max button works well, but there doesnt seem to be an update Maya button.
So, if you were to update anything back in Max, you would have to go to File/send to Maya agin.
so maybe some streamlining here would be helpful?
